When I was transitioning from a teaching career to tech, the coding bootcamp I attended used the CS50 curriculum and supplemented it with a live professor and a crew of teaching assistants. The professor told us that very few people without a coding background were able to complete Harvard's online course on their own, because one of the keys to mastering the coursework is student study groups and access to teaching assistants.
